I haven’t posted in a couple of days and still don’t have anything exciting to report. Just regular life. Monday was crop day and that’s always fun. I got caught up on some layouts and then Lou Ann showed me how she was doing similar layouts digitally. Show-off. It really looked cool. I’m trying to learn how to do more digitally, but sometimes it’s difficult for this old dog to learn new tricks.
I got my haircut today–just a normal trim. Why is it different every time? I loved my hair when she cut this new ‘do last month. Today it looked totally different when she dried and styled it. And I’m not really lovin’ it. I’m sure it will be fine when I wash and dry it. I guess you can’t expect them to remember what they did 6 weeks ago. The important part is a good cut, right?
Yesterday was Jaki’s birthday and the crop group is going to KC to shop at Zona Rosa tomorrow. Yay! It is going to be fun. How can it not be–hanging with this group is always a good time and throwing shopping into the mix is just icing on the cake. Our little gnome thinks 3 hours is too far to drive for one day, so she will not be attending. She is so going to regret missing out on this trip. We WILL be talking about her and calling to harass her on a regular basis. Like Lou Ann said, “What difference does it make what we’re doing or where we’re going? Just spending the day with us is reason enough to come along.” Amen sister! I’m off to get a good night’s sleep so I can spend money with a clear head.

How the crap is 3 hours too long of a drive?! You, Mandy, and I do that all the time! Maybe I’m just too much like you for my own good. Any amount of time in the car is worth it to me. Come on, Gnome-y! You know you’ll regret not going. I kind of want to go . . .

Gnomie no like driving somewhere to shop & then drive back. The thought of living somewhere where we have to drive 3 hours to do something makes Gnomie puke up gnomie-like objects.
